A.C. petrol pump type B, sectioned, made by the AC-Sphinx Sparking Plug Co., 1934

A sectioned example of the variable-stroke pump patented by the A.C. Spark Plug Co. in 1928. It is used for rasiing petrol from a low level tank up to the carburettor, and its output is proportional to the engine demand.
