Triumph 'Tina' or T10 motor scooter, registration no. ONK45D, 1966. The Triumph Tina was the Triumph Motor Company’s attempt to get involved in the lucrative British scooter market of the 1960s. They were released in 1962 amongst internal opposition that felt the Tina could be detrimental to Triumph’s macho image. An extensive marketing campaign followed fronted by the pop star, Cliff Richard. However sales continued to be poor, and in 1965 the name of the model was change to T10. But sales did not pick up and the scooter was discontinued in 1970. This is an example of the T10, which was essentially the same vehicle as the Tina, but with a less feminine name.
