Hooded buggy, with dickey seat, built by Holland and Holland of London, mid 1800s.

Hooded buggy (two wheels) for a single horse. This carriage has sham caning covered panels on the body and cane wheel protectors. The gig has shafts, a swingletree, two candle lamps and rubber mats to footboards. The body is sprung on two side and two cross springs. The interior upholstery has two Melton cushions and the livery is in brown with brown trim and red stripe flanked by single red lining, in original condition.
