Two-speed bicycle hub

Eadie two speed bicycle hub with fittings, sectioned.

The first two-speed gear for bicycles, incorporated in the driving wheel hub, was patented by Mr. W. Reilly and others in 1896 and 1899. This one, while being of the same general design, is constructed in the manner patented by Mr. A. Eadie in 1903.
