Drawing of "Rocket", 1836

Drawing of "Rocket". This image was created when Rocket was being sold as a colliery engine. It shows the alterations that have been made to the locomotive since 1829. Rocket has lost it's yellow livery and is instead green. Additionally, the angle of the pistons have been altered and the original chimney has been replaced. This image shows us a crucial intermediate stage of Rocket, between its original design and how it exists today.
