Painted photograph, oil on board, London Tilbury & Southend Railway locomotive Thundersley decorated for the coronation, by F Moore (Thomas Rudd), about 1911. Depicts the 4-4-2T locomotive Thundersley in right profile, decorated in celebration of the coronation of their Majesties King George V and Queen Mary in June 1911. The engine is adorned with garlands of red, white and blue flowers. There is a royal crest on the side tank, and vases of flowers on the running board. On the front buffer beams are busts of the King and Queen, with a destination board reading "Southend". Signed by the artist at bottom right. Framed and glazed.
