Aircraft: Folland Gnat T.MK.1, serial number XP505. Built by Folland Aircraft Ltd. September 1962. Used by Royal Aircraft Establishment Bedford 1970-1983. The Gnat was the RAFs advanced jet trainer for many years before being replaced by the Hawk. It found fame with the aerobatic teams The 'Yellow Jacks' and 'Red Arrows'.
