Pair of miniature thermometers on ivory scales in mahogany case. One thermometer contains mercury and back of scale is marked "185 J. Newman London"; the other thermometer contains alcohol (stem broken) and back of scale is marked "Dollond London". The case has a brass name plate engraved with the initials "H.D.". Wellcome No. B937
