Stop-start facsimile telegraph, Siemens-Hell-Schreiber GL, model T type 72c, 1956

The Siemens Hell facsimile receiver or Hellschreiber receiver was designed by Rudolf Hell. A precursor of the fax machine, the Hellschreiber transmitted text via electrical coding and was used in post offices, editorial departments, police stations and meteorological services.
