The Roland System 700 sound synthesizer is a high-class Japanese version of the famous Moog synthesizer that started the sound synthesizer revolution. Roland System 700 was one of the last all-analogue sound synthesizers and is material evidence of an importance phase of development in sound synthesis and, more generally, acoustics and the perception of sound.
