Pye Ranger V.H.F. radio telephone set. Type PTC 2007, made by Pye Telecommunications Limited, Cambridge, 1955-1964.
This low power radio telephone was designed to allow for two way communication in vehicles, and was often mounted on the dashboard. The Pye Reporter was introduced as a low cost radiophone.
