Master contactor for the Royal Air Force's (RAF) TR9D transmitter/reciever.
This is a switch mechanism for the RAF's TR9D transmitter/receiver installation - see object number 1948-96. It is operated by an accurate clock which enabled aircraft to transmit a 'beacon' signal, for the benefit of ground stations plotting their positions.
