Marconi High Frequency telegraphy/telephony Transmitter Type SWB8E, c. 1935, used at the Cable & Wireless Ltd Engineering Training College, at Porthcurno, Cornwall.
This transmitter, telegraph only, was transferred to Porthcurno from Gibraltar in the mid 1950s and represented a type in use at Cable & Wireless until the early 1970s.
