'day and night' refracting telescope, micrometer adapted for use with Rand's micrometer, by Jesse Ramsden, London, England, c. 1800. Brass tube and table tripod, 1 3/4-inch object glass, one eyepiece with sun filter and micrometer eyepiece, fitted in mahogany box, with key, diameter for main tube 1 7/8-inch length 1-foot 5-inch, screw adjustable for altitude of focussing. No lens cap
