Imperial 66 typewriter serial no. 6F33013, 1960-1961. The spools on the sides are for typing onto a tape. Serial number 6F33013 dates this typewriter to 1960-1961.

In 1954, British company the Imperial Typewriter Company announced a new machine, the Imperial 66. The Imperial 66 was made between1954 and the late 1960s. In 1967, Imperial began to import cheaper machines from Japan and in the 1970's they were taken over by American electronics company Litton Industries who also took over the Royal Company, another prominent maker of typewriters. Soon after the Imperial name disappeared altogether.
