Single piece of metal type containing the Lord’s Prayer and the Monotype company name and London address on its face. The text is readable with the aid of a magnifying glass. The face of the piece of type measures about 5mm square. Souvenir card included. Made by The Lanston Monotype Corporation to illustrate the precision engineering and human skill employed in making matrices for use on Monotype casters. This item is very likely to have been made before 1931 when the company changed its name to The Monotype Corporation.
