Model of Sussex farm wagon
Tough ash was usual for the side planks and tough breech, steel-shod within the box of the wheel, for the axles. A narrowing front made it possible to have front wheels with a large diameter. The width of the wheels could be varies to suit different soil conditions. The two undercarriages were connected by a coupling pole.
