General purpose plough body
This type has a long convex mouldboard shaped to turn over a furrow slice without breaking it. This is a requirement for general Autumn ploughing, and for ploughing grassland, regardless of season. Such slice can be up to 8" deep by 12" wide. As set up by the plough they offer the maximum area to the effect of frost and sun. After-cultivation is required to produce a firm seed bed.
