This type has a concave mouldboard shaped to break up the furrow slice as much as possible. This is a requirement for spring ploughing ad the effect obtained is the closest to a good seed bed, using only the plough. This type of mouldnoard buries surface material most effectively, and can work up to a depth and width of about 20".
