John Deere Model 'BR' agricultural tractor on pneumatic tyres, by the John Deere Co., Moline, U.S.A., Serial No. 330852, 1940. Engine: Twin-cylinder horizontal overhead valve gasoline (petrol)/ kerosene. Probably better known in the UK for their 3-point rowcrop machines, this is a 'standard' version of John Deere's Model B tractor (the 'R' stands for 'Regular') . The model 'B' was introduced in 1936 and ended production in 1947.
