Viking spacecraft orbiter (cruise model) scale model 1:48, original launched 20th August 1975.
This probe was used to carry the lander to Mars, capture images of the surface, find the landing spot and release the lander. After it did this, it continued to orbit the planet collecting more information to send back to the earth.
