Gramophone Tape Recorder, consisting of tape deck and battery powered preamplifier in original boxes, by Gramdeck, Stevenage, UK, c. 1960, complete with two instruction booklets. Designed to be used for converting any record turntable into a tape deck and utilising the host unit's amplifier and loudspeaker for sound reproduction. Serial numbers 27089 (tape deck) and 24999 (pre-amplifier control unit)
