Psion Series 3 personal organiser, made by Psion, British, 1991.

The Psion Series 3 ‘Classic’ personal digital assistant (PDA) was manufactured betweem 1991 and 1998. Building on their previous models, Psion’s Series 3 was a versatile and portable computer. The device could show up to 8 lines of text, and featured word processing and spreadsheet applications. As with many PDAs, Psion Organisers could synchronise information with the users’ computer, making them powerful tools for work. One important feature for users was that the Psion Series 3 ‘Classic’ could be powered for around a month by two standard AA batteries, widely available for sale.
