Whole model, scale 1:24, of an Egyptian sea-going ship of the Vth Dynasty (c.2600 BC), featuring 'hogging truss', or a cable which runs from either end of the vessel, in glazed case with key (see note), by Alfred Charles Jackson, High Salvington, Near Worthing, Sussex, England, 1936-1943.

Conjectural, whole, rigged model of a n Egyptian sea-going ship of the 5th dunasty, c. 2500 BC. This model is based on the bas-relief in the tomb of King Sahurer at Abusir. Such ships are thought to have brought back cedar wood from Lebanon and undertaken exploratory voyages to the land of Punt,
