Photographs, one album of 19 silver gelatin prints, mostly captioned, from the Gorton Works of the Great Central Railway, featuring photographs of two ambulance trains, showing their interiors, exteriors, in motion, and staff. Front page of album features typewritten history of trains by CME J G Robinson. Album has brown card covers, front cover illustrated with red cross on white background and a photograph (3¼" x 2¼") of ambulance train, inscribed "Ambulance Trains supplied by GCR Co. 1914". 19 pages, prints 13¼ x 7½ ins, 7¾ x 6 ins, 6½ x 3¼ ins.
