Commemorative plate, Institute of Metals, English Porcelain Paintings, designed and produced by Malcolm Johnson [1994]. In bone china [Worcester?] with blue glaze border and gilt edge, width 27.5 cm/10.8 inches in presentation box 31 cm square. Commissioned for Institute's 125th anniversary (1869-1994). Plate no. 109. Shows armorial bearings, devices including staff of two snakes and book of chemical symbols.
