Silver cigarette box lined with cedar wood, British Transport Commission, engraved on lid 'Presented to John Scholes at the 10th anniversary dinner of the Consultative Panel for the Preservation of British Transport relics by associated societies in appreciation of his services to transport preservation, 18th Oct 1968'. Engine turned decoration on lid with panel engraved 'J H S'. Overall: 41 mm x 159 mm x 94 mm.
