Dry, 3 light, prepayment gas meter made by W & B Cowan in 1924, capacity 18 cu ft/hr, constructed of grey painted, tin-plated steel. Gas company Serial No. 5579 on meter and manufacturer's Serial No. 2.143949 on dial. Meter accepted 1d coins. (Tingley catalogue No. 219).
