Sample of Mokumegane in fine silver and shibuishi (Japanese metal comprising 67% copper, 33% silver, plus gilding metal; spotted effect). This was heated at 600°C to give a natural finish. Made by Dr Ian Ferguson at the Royal College of Art, 1990-1996.
