Mokume gane in silver and shakudo

1990-1996 in London

Sample of Mokumegane in fine silver and shakudo (a Japanese metal comprising 4-5% gold in copper) which was heated at 600°C, also using molten potassium nitrate. Made by Dr Ian Ferguson at the Royal College of Art, 1990-1996.
