Print, The Safe Arrival, by Dean and Son, about 1848. Coloured lithograph with a circular image depicting passengers getting off a train at a station. They are leaving the last two carriages, and porters help them with their luggage. At the rear of the train is a wagon carrying a road carriage and cart. There is another train at an adjacent platform, and a stationary locomotive and tender on a line in the background. Beyond the roof of the train shed are buildings with snow on their roofs. Mounted on board, with the title in ink below. Just visible at the bottom edge of the image are the words "Tintorette printing by Dean & Son, Threadneedle Street, London."
