Coloured lithograph. Locomotive Engine 'The Rocket', 1830, built by George Stephenson. shows the locomotive in rural setting with two engineers and admiring bystanders. In background, a stage coach and an inn 'The Coach and Horses'. Published by The Leadenhall Press Ltd, 50 Leadenhall Street, London, EC. 1894/07/16. Entered according to Act of Congress in the Office of the Librarian at Washington, USA, in the year 1894 by the Leadenhall Press Ltd, London. Dimensions: 11.6142 x 14.1732 in (295 x 360 mm). The illustration actually shows the Stephensons' locomotive "Northumbrian", also built in 1830.
