The homes were: Herne Bay; Bridge House, Dawlish; the old Wool Hall, Lavenham; Trenython, Par; Shottendane, Margate (for women); Ascog Mansion, Isle of Bute; The Bedford, Buxton; The Old Abbey, Llandudno; Leasowe Castle, Cheshire; and Ardenlea, Ilkley.
