Ferguson's Universal Solar Chronometer, 1900-1922
Ferguson solar chronometer, model B, with flexible dial (printed on two separate thin cards) and booklet with wooden base of cover which forms stand for instrument, 1900-1922. The hour lines are adjusted to the equation of time and so the instrument always gives the mean time and not the solar time. This model was designed to come with an astronomical compass attachment.
