Notice. London Brighton & South Coast Railway. £5 Reward. (To anyone giving information which will lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders who.....on the evening of 14 November 1890 did wilfully and maliciously place seven chair spikes between the tongues of some points in the siding at Tooting Junction, thus preventing their closing, the result of which was that two goods brakes were thrown off the rails, causing damage and much delay to the 6.40pm New Cross to Wimbledon Goods Train, of which the said brakes formed a part.
