Letter, from F H Eggleshaw, Locomotive Works Manager, Chief Mechanical Engineer's Department, London & North Eastern Railway, Doncaster to Master F G Burdon, 35 Lorna Road, Mexboro', nr Rotherham, dated 12th January 1935. As a result of a vacancy for a "boy", an invitation to to call at the office at 9.00 am on Tuesday 15th instant for inviting him for an interview and medical for an apprenticeship.
