Panasonic NV2000 VHS video recorder. Made by Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd in 1981.

By 1985, 30% of households in the UK owned a VCR and could record and store their favourite television shows on tape. This had a huge impact on both the television and film industries as people had the ability to buy or rent programmes and movies, as well as record them off the air.
