Poster, Southern Railway, Steam! by T.D. Kerr. 1925. Progress Poster No 2, Depicts the express passenger locomotive No 751 'Etarre' on a curve, passing beneath a signal gantry. Text reads "The 'King Arthur' Class, West of England Express, 91 of the most powerful engines are being delivered to the Southern Railway this summer, costing over £600,000." One of a series of posters produced by the Southern Railway to advertise improvements to rolling stock and infrastructure. Printed by McCorquodale & Co Ltd, London. Format: double royal.
