The Kent axe is a traditional English regional head style that originated in the English county of Kent. The axe is symmetrical in shape, bell shaped and double-bevelled. It features a curved cutting edge. The Kent axe was traditionally used by shipwrights and carpenters. The 2lb Kent Axe by C Nurse & Co was made with a solid steel head.
