Worssam and Co. were based on King's Road, Chelsea, and were noted makers of saw-mill machinery for local companies. the quality of the company's products was such that it won a gold medal for invention of wood-working machinery in an 1885 exhibition, but only seven years later the company was amalgamated with another and the Worssam name was lost.
