Model of file-cutting machine from design of Leonardo da Vinci, C.A. 6 r.b.

This model follows Leonardo da Vinci'sdesign in the Codice Atlantico, folio 6 R.b, which was sritten between 1483 and 1518. It represents an automatic machine driven by the fall of a weight hanging from a cord which passes over a pulley and is wound onto a windlass, which is part of the main shaft of the machine.
