Temporary prosthesis with a fibre, felt-lined socket for long below elbow stump. Soft lace-up upper arm (Williams) corset riveted to socket. Metal cuff and rotary with single lock position. (This type of temporary prosthesis was designed in 1939 for issue at any Limb Fitting Centre should the factory at Roehampton be destroyed by bombing). Made in 1940.
