- Made:
- circa 1917
Above elbow prosthesis with a certalmid socket & forearm. External bolt-type elbow lock with 12 positions. The lock can be released by means of a leather flexion cord (most of which is missing). It was attached to the webbing appendage and passed through a roller, set near the axilla and then through another roller set in the back of the socket at its lower half. The cord then entered the socket to be attached to a lever protruding from the forearm to an opening in the socket end. The hand is missing. Made by Cory & Grundy c.1917.
