'Steeper' heavy-working type arm for a long left below elbow stump. Leather socket connected by jointed side steels to a leather upper-arm 'corset', (as fitted to all 'Steeper' below elbow arms prior to 1921). Hand-operated bolt lock at the elbow. Spring-type ejector ring on rotary face. (The latter was designed, in 1922, to extrude the terminal device as soon as the release catch was operated). Wheel-type lock on the wrist, to prevent rotation of the terminal device. Made by Steeper, c.1930. (Weight: 1.5 lbs 0.7 kg)
