Heavy working arm for right above elbow amputation. Blocked leather socket (not the original), with a metal dome end. Flexion cord passes through the back of the elbow to be fixed to a lever on the front of the short forearm stem. The stem has a spline fitting. There is no mechanism for lateral movement. There is an elbow locking lever on the front of the metal dome to which is attached a leather lock strap. A small ball-headed pin engages the lock lever in an unlocked position for free elbow movement. The forearm and hand are missing. Heavy-duty 1.25" webbing appendage. Made c.1940.
