Right arm for an infant with congenital absence of the forearm, (at elbow level). Plastic socket and forearm with a friction elbow joint, the tension of which may be adjusted by tightening, or loosening, the side bolt with the aid of a coin. There is also a friction wrist rotation unit. The split-hook (missing) was operated by means of a Bowden cable which is attached to a 'cushlon' and velcro harness. Made by Steeper c.1962.
