One-piece forearm and foam hand for a young child, made by Steeper c. 1970.

This artificial or prosthetic hand was made for a young child who was born with an upper limb difference that was present when they were born. Little is known about their life or how often they may have used it, if at all. Made from plastic, this hand was made to be worn using the Velcro strap for security. Details have been added to the hand to give it as life like appearance as possible including nails and skin creases.
