Label on case reads: Fans for Exportation. Clarke & Co, Fan Makers to their Royal Highness's the Dutchess & Princess of Gloucester. At their Warehouse No. 26 Strand (near Charing Cross) NB Inventors of the Pocket Sliding Fans.
