One fan with ivory carved sticks, showing three balloon scenes, one bordered with metal sequins, height 28cm opening to 48 cm. Contained when folded in a contemporary English fan case, c32x5x5cm. Label on case reads: Fans for Exportation. Clarke & Co, Fan Makers to their Royal Highness's the Dutchess & Princess of Gloucester. At their Warehouse No. 26 Strand (near Charing Cross) NB Inventors of the Pocket Sliding Fans.
