Poster, Southern Railway, Bournemouth Belle, by Lajos Marton, 1936. Coloured lithograph depicting a stylised view of the oncoming train, headed by Lord Nelson class locomotive No 862 'Lord Collingwood'. At the top of the poster the text reads "Southern-Railway" and at the bottom are the words "Bournemouth Belle, Runs Daily" and a timetable giving timings between London Waterloo, Southampton Central and Bournemouth Central and West stations. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd. Reference AD 3960 750/1936. Format: double royal. Dimensions: 40 x 25 inches, 1016 x 635mm.
